Unframed original watercolour painting of a striking nuthatch who is one of the regular visitors to the feeders although they often prefer to take their stash to a crevice in a nearby stump to feast on. One of a set of four original paintings of woodland birds completed from photos and observations taken during visits to the bird hide near Bamburgh in Northumberland over the past five years.
Painted on A6 size handmade deckle edged recycled acid free cotton paper, I have signed the painting in the front right hand corner. You will also receive a certificate of authenticity with your painting.
With these paintings I have chosen my four favourite woodland birds to observe at the bird hide and tried to capture something of their character. I hope these paintings will bring a little piece of that joy into your home.
