Handmade using stoneware clay, each plaque is rolled by hand and shaped into a smooth organic shape then fired. This bird plate has been glazed with an creamy crackle glaze and then fired for a third time where transfers of my artwork are applied fusing them into the glaze to make a charming, tactile piece of wall decor.
An adhesive plate hanger is attached to the back for easy display with regular picture hooks, or a screw/nail. This can be removed without harming the plaque by soaking in water should you wish to display the artwork in a different way.
These quirky nature inspired plates are well suited to being displayed in a montage or gallery wall with other pieces of wall art but are also effective on their own above your desk in a study for example, or a snug corner where you enjoy being reminded of days in the garden amongst the bees and flowers.
