Handmade Tiles Wall Art

Handmade tiles made from stoneware clay. Each tile is rolled, cut and shaped by hand then fired in my small electric kiln. The blank tiles are then glazed using brush on glazes, fired again and then fired for a third time once I have applied ceramic transfers of my original watercolour paintings.

Each tile has an adhesive wall hanger attached and are intended to be displayed as decorative wall art rather than used as tiles as they have not yet been tested in this way. Some feature crackle glazes meaning the porous surfaces would need to have a sealent applied to protect them from cleaning products/grease etc.
