The fine bone china votive is slightly translucent so the warm glow of the candle flickers through the the redbreast of the robin, a charming addition to any festive fireside.

My illustrations are professionally printed onto ceramic transfers which are hand cut and applied to the tealight holder. After decorating the candle holders are fired in my own small electric kiln to 800°C making them dishwasher safe.

Please take care handling the candle holder once the candle is lit as the bone china will become hot to the touch.

Just what I needed

My hubby died a few years ago. Each year though, I still buy something to remember him by on what would have been our Wedding Anniversary (November). With it being 36 years this year, I was looking for something in Bone China.

I was delighted when I found something which would not only fulfil the bone china brief; but also features a robin 'When Robins appear, Loved Ones are near'. Add to that I will be able to put a lit tea-light candle in it. Just perfect for the Anniversary day itself. I also plan to bring it out and light a candle for him on Christmas Day, and on his Angelversary in January.

The item is well crafted, and at such a reasonable price it was just what I wanted, or dare I say needed!
