this is being sold as a second due to cosmetic flaws: small black marks from impurities in the clay are visible around the rim of the teacup and the handle, the base of the bluebell flower has also burned away during firing, please see photos.
The black marks are caused by impurities in the clay, they aren't visible when I decorate the mug but become visible after the transfer firing.
My illustrations of spring flowers and bees have been professionally printed onto ceramic transfers which are cut and applied by hand to create the finished design.
After decorating, bluebell design teacup is fired in my own small electric kiln to 800°C making it dishwasher safe.
