My watercolour painting of a majestic brown hare with bell heather and harebell inspired by walks in the Northumbrian moors printed using the giclée method onto archival paper. A charming print for wildlife lovers.
Giclée (pronounced zhee-clay) is a form of inkjet printing often used for fine art prints because it uses pigment based inks rather than dye based. The prints are therefore a higher quality and longer lasting (100-200 years without fading) than standard inkjet prints. My giclée prints have been printed using the Ultrachrome HDX archival ink system onto a sturdy, textured, Hahnemuehle German etching archival paper (310gsm).
Your giclée print will be signed and dated by me on the reverse, wrapped in acid free tissue paper and protected during postage in a board backed envelope.
Print is A5 size and ideally should be framed using acid free backing materials and UV glass for optimal protection.
These are printed to demand rather than being stored so may take up to a week to be dispatched.
