The black marks are caused by impurities in the clay, they aren't visible when I decorate the mug but become visible after the transfer firing.
A cute hand decorated bone china round coaster.
Hand decorated using digital transfers of my watercolour illustrations of a forget me not flower and bee. My illustrations are professionally printed onto ceramic transfers which I apply by hand to each coaster. They have a slight rim so are also equally suitable to use as a spoon rest.
After decorating the coasters are fired in my own small electric kiln to 800°C making them dishwasher safe.
If you would prefer to display your bone china floral coaster as a quirky mini wall plate please choose to add an adhesive plate hanger to your basket. This can be applied and removed without harming the glaze or back stamp by following the instructions provided.
