this is being sold as a second due to cosmetic flaws: part of the bee and bluebell transfers have burned away during firing, there are also a couple of small black marks from impurities in the clay visible on the rim on the back of the teacup above the primrose, please see photos.
The black marks are caused by impurities in the clay, they aren't visible when I decorate the mug but become visible after the transfer firing.
My illustrations of spring flowers and bees have been professionally printed onto ceramic transfers which are cut and applied by hand to create the finished design.
After decorating, the teacup is fired in my own small electric kiln to 800°C making it dishwasher safe.
