My watercolour painting of a sunflower and bee printed using the giclée method onto archival paper. The national flower of Ukraine, this sunflower painting was created by me in response to recent events. All profits from the sale of this print will be donated to the British Red Cross Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
Giclée (pronounced zhee-clay) is a form of inkjet printing often used for fine art prints because it uses pigment based inks rather than dye based. The prints are therefore a higher quality and longer lasting (100-200 years without fading) than standard inkjet prints. My giclée prints have been printed using the Ultrachrome HDX archival ink system onto a sturdy, textured, Hahnemuehle German etching archival paper (310gsm).
Your giclée print will be signed and dated by me on the reverse, wrapped in acid free tissue paper and protected during postage in a board backed envelope.
Print is A5 size and ideally should be framed using acid free backing materials and UV glass for optimal protection.
Choose from unmounted, or a green, grey or blue mount which will fit a standard 8" x 10" frame.
